A Filipino Fiesta was held at St. Stephen Catholic Church after the 9:30 A.M. Mass, honoring two Filipino Saints: St. Lorenzo Ruiz and St. Pedro Calungsod. St. Lorenzo's feast day is September 28, and he was martyred in Japan in 1637. He was the first Filipino to be declared a saint. St. Pedro's feast day is April 2, and he was martyred in Guam in 1672 at age 17. Photos by Stan Contrades
